The second casino in the Far East will open before the end of summer

Shambhala casino in Primorye gambling zone will open in August 2020. 3.5 billion rubles have already been invested in the new complex.

To the new casino is being brought the necessary communications, and the road works are being completed. By 2022 the second stage will be finished – in “Shambhala” there will be a 5-star hotel, a spa-center, a conference hall and others. Additional investments are estimated at 8 billion rubles.

According to “Shambhala” managers, the launch of the new casino will allow the Far Eastern gambling zone to attract even more Asian guests, primarily from Japan, Korea and China.

Shambhala’s first casino was opened in 2004 in Krasnodar. However, due to changes in legislation, it was first forced to stop its activities and then moved to the Azov-City gambling zone, which, in turn, closed at the beginning of 2019.

At the moment, only one casino, Tigre De Cristal, is operating in the Primorye Gaming Zone, which reopened after quarantine on July 16.

The expansion plan for “Primorye” provides for the opening of twelve more facilities. One of them should be the Naga Vladivostok entertainment center, which will launch in 2021.

In total there are four gambling zones in Russia – “Siberian Coin” in Altai Territory, “Primorye” near Vladivostok, “Amber” in Kaliningrad Region and “Krasnaya Polyana” in Krasnodar Territory. A new gambling zone in Crimea is due to be commissioned in the next few years.
