Organizers of the prestigious Global Gaming Awards event have shortlisted the 2022 entrants

On December 13, the shortlist for the Global Gaming Awards, which will be held in London next year, was officially determined. The authoritative British publication Gambling Insider is the organizer of the event. Every year the expert team of the resource marks the success achieved over the past 12 months in the field of gambling and entertainment outside the region of North and South America. Both operators and vendors receive their awards.

The Global Gaming Awards 2022 event will recognize the best in 15 categories, including Casino of the Year. This nomination returns to the roster after a 12-month pause due to the forced closure of many land-based gambling facilities.

“2021 has certainly been an eventful year for the gaming industry. We saw many mergers and acquisitions, more than one launch of updated and innovative products. But most importantly, the entire world has witnessed the recovery of the land-based sector, which has recovered from the pandemic recession. So we’re certainly happy to celebrate all of this in our awards,” said Gambling Insider editor-in-chief Julian Perry.

It’s important to note that there are an equal number of nominees in each company category. The official shortlist of contenders for the prizes will be published in early January.

The Global Gaming Awards London are hosted by Gambling Insider in association with KPMG, one of the world’s largest accounting firms. BetConstruct is the leading partner of the event. The various categories are sponsored by respected brands in the world of gambling – Digitain, Altenar, BGaming, SOFTSWISS, Bragg Gaming and Stakelogic.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held in the conference room of London’s elite Hippodrome Casino on January 31, 2022.

As a reminder, Pragmatic Play won the prestigious EGR Operator Awards 2021 in the “Game of the Year” category.
