Kuban casinos in 2021 reduced royalties to the budget by 4%

According to the statistical reports of the Ministry of Finance of Krasnodar region, since the beginning of 2021 the local gambling establishments sent a total of 71 million rubles to the regional budget. If we compare this figure with last year’s data, the current figures will be lower by 3.8%.

This year, after several revisions, the regional authorities plan to receive 424.7 million rubles from the sphere of gambling.

It is important to note that as of February 1 this year, the gambling business in Krasnodar Krai has sent to the budget 33.2 million rubles. Statistics claim that this figure is lower than last year’s by 4.5%. For the same period of 2020 the tax revenues from the Kuban casino has reached 34,95 million rubles.

Earlier it became known that at the end of 2020 the objects of the gaming zone “Krasnaya Polyana” recorded unprecedented losses. In 12 months, local casinos lost 680 billion rubles.

Dmitry Anfinogenov, a high-ranking official of the gambling zone, said that the large-scale coronavirus restrictions were the main reason for the drop in profitability of local gambling establishments.

“Since March, our earnings figures have come close to zero. However, in spite of all the difficulties and circumstances, we have not stopped doing our job and fulfilling our approved obligations. The company did not turn its back on its employees, providing them with support and financial assistance. In addition, we secured a deferment on loans previously arranged.”
