Hollywood opens $2.2 billion casino entertainment complex

There was an official opening ceremony in Hollywood for the Hard Rock Hollywood entertainment complex, which cost more than $2.2 billion. The landmark of the project was a 140-meter-high hotel in the form of a guitar – the main symbol of the company.

It cost $1.5 billion to build a 638-room guitar-shaped hotel. In addition to the main building, guests will be able to stay in two other hotels on the territory of the complex, which were opened earlier. There are also spas, nightclubs, restaurants, stores and other institutions, as well as a concert stage, which seats up to 7 thousand people. One of the first to perform at the Hard Rock Live venue will be Sergei Shnurov, his concert scheduled for November 15, 2019.

Another $700 million was spent to create the casino. It housed 3,100 state-of-the-art slot machines, 200 tables with roulette, blackjack and other games, as well as a poker room with 45 tables, a high-limit player room and a non-smoking player area. The total area of the gaming zone was 195,000 square meters.

“Guitar Hotel will attract players from all over the world. Visitors will enjoy world-class entertainment, gambling and dining,” said Hard Rock Hotel International Chairman Jim Allen.

Johnny Depp, Bella Thorne, Khloe Kardashian and other celebrities attended the opening ceremony. Maroon 5 also performed at the event.
