A resident of Bryansk helped an illegal gambling operator to earn and withdraw 63 billion rubles from Russia

According to the official data of the Investigative Committee of Russian Federation in Bryansk region, law enforcement agencies of the region stopped large-scale illegal activities of one of the operators of gambling entertainment. It is known that his work contributed to the withdrawal of 63 billion rubles from the territory of Russia.

So, the guilt of a 40-year-old resident of Bryansk, who together with two other partners from October 2014 to May 2019, organized an illegal gambling entertainment outlet without an appropriate license of the Federal Tax Service, was proved. In their work they used uncertified software and independently carried out technical support of resources.

The list of duties of the accused included receiving cash from players and transferring funds to their accounts on the operator’s website. Thus, she enabled citizens to take part in gambling entertainment.

The investigation found that the organized group of criminals earned a total of 63 billion rubles during the reporting period. All this money was subsequently withdrawn from the territory of the Russian Federation and distributed among the identified persons.
Authorities of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation revealed the fact of illegal activities in the gambling business. Regional subdivisions of the Federal Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs accompanied the special operation to suppress the operation of the operator.

As a result the woman received a real punishment – three years behind bars in a general regime penal colony. In addition, the court ordered her to pay 800,000 rubles in the form of a fine. At the same time the sentence has not yet entered into force, because it was postponed due to the fact that she has a child under the age of 14.

The other participants in the case received sentences in absentia, each of them is now internationally wanted. Also, their real estate on the territory of Russia, which was estimated at 1.5 billion rubles, was arrested.
